Intel's latest 22nm technology based Ivy Bridge CPUs are out and we are going to see the best CPU for gaming i.e the i5 3570K today. This is the best CPU if you are building a gaming rig, it is base clocked at 3.4GHz with 3.8 at turbo with a unlocked multiplier up to 63x. It has the normal 4 cores 4 threads which is plenty for any gaming needs. It has replaced the 2500K to becoming the No.1 CPU in our list for gaming in terms of price and performance. Well Ivy bridge do have advantages over Sandy Bridge, but they are not much so if you have a Sandy Bridge CPU then it is not worth it to upgrade to Ivy Bridge.
